Bayern face uncertainty over Kompany, Kimmich and Neuer before Arsenal match
Bayern Munich have three key players in doubt before Wednesday’s Champions League match against Arsenal.
Coach Vincent Kompany missed training on Monday and Tuesday while recovering from a virus that has also caused hip problems.
Joshua Kimmich missed Tuesday’s session for personal reasons, and assistant coach Aaron Danks said it was unclear whether he would play.
Manuel Neuer has returned to training after a foot injury, but Bayern have not confirmed whether he will start.
One account says he could play if the foot causes no further problems, while another says the decision is still open.
Danks may lead the team if Kompany is unavailable, as he has done before.
Bayern are also without Jamal Musiala, who is still doing individual recovery training, and Michael Olise, who is suspended.
