Nimy Resources begins first gold drilling at Western Australia prospect
Nimy Resources has begun its first gold drilling at the Corporate James prospect in Western Australia.
The prospect is part of the company’s Mons project, about 370 kilometres north-east of Perth.
The drilling will test two gold-in-soil anomalies, at Corporate James and Corporate James South, to check whether gold is present in the underlying rock.
The company plans about 25 reverse-circulation holes, totalling 6,000 metres.
The targets lie along a 16-kilometre gold trend on the edge of the Mons Greenstone Belt, within a wider area that has not been tested.
Drilling is expected to finish before Christmas 2026, and samples will be analysed in Perth.
Results are expected in the March 2027 quarter and will help guide further exploration.
