Prime Video is making a live-action series based on the God of War video game franchise.
Dave Bautista will play Kratos, a mythic Norse hero, and Teresa Palmer, Ed Skrein, Mandy Patinkin and Alastair Duncan are also in the cast.
The story follows Kratos and his son Atreus on a quest to reach the highest peak of the nine realms.
Ronald D. Moore, known for developing Battlestar Galactica and Outlander, will run the series.

Filming for both is due to wrap in April 2027, and the series could debut before the end of that year.
