Saudi Crown Prince invited to 2026 UN Water Conference in Abu Dhabi

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received an invitation to attend the 2026 United Nations Water Conference.

UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum sent the invitation to him.

The conference is due to be held in Abu Dhabi in 2026.

Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khereiji received the invitation from UAE Ambassador Matar Salem AlDhaheri during a meeting in Riyadh on Thursday.

The meeting also covered relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE and matters of mutual interest.

The invitation does not say whether Mohammed bin Salman will attend.
