HGS violation payments now require vehicle owners to use e-Devlet
Turkey has changed how drivers check and pay HGS toll violation debts.
The system now requires users to sign in to e-Devlet and select a vehicle they own, instead of looking up a debt by entering any plate number.
Drivers must use e-Devlet in a web browser; the payment screen is not available in its mobile app.
They can find any listed violation under the vehicle’s “Geçiş” section and pay by card.
The change means people cannot pay another vehicle’s debt directly through the system.
Someone who borrowed a car and incurred a violation must get the amount from the vehicle owner and pay them.
The new process is intended to prevent unauthorized checks, and the sources do not describe any further changes.
