Bankinter Investment offers €509.8 million for hotel company Atom

Bankinter Investment has offered to buy all of Atom, a hotel investment company listed on Spain’s BME Growth market.

The voluntary offer values Atom at €509.8 million, or €15.79 per share.

That price is below Atom’s closing share price of €17.60 the day before the offer was announced.

The offer is intended to give investors who joined Atom in 2018 a chance to cash out, but shareholders can sell all or part of their holdings or keep them.

Atom was set up by Bankinter Investment and hotel manager GMA, and its portfolio now includes 20 hotels with more than 5,100 rooms.

Bankinter Investment and GMA have said they intend to keep their current stakes, each above 5%.

The acceptance period is scheduled to run from 2 November to 4 December 2026, with settlement planned for 18 December, subject to the operation’s conditions.
