Ric Flair hospitalized after fall in Tampa; daughter says he will be okay

Ric Flair fell outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida, on Friday and was taken to hospital.

He suffered cuts to his head and around his eye; reports differed on whether he may also have had a concussion.

His daughter Charlotte said he would be okay in a social media post.

Earlier that day, Flair said he had a blood clot in his leg and canceled a scheduled appearance at a Seattle convention on doctors’ advice.

He said doctors had limited his travel and that he planned to have a procedure on the affected vein.

The procedure may allow him to travel again, though no timing was given.

Flair has previously said he developed balance problems and vertigo after wrestling The Ultimate Warrior in the early 1990s.
