Cetilar unveils blue Ferrari 499P for Asian Le Mans Series debut

Cetilar Racing has unveiled its blue Ferrari 499P for the 2026-27 Asian Le Mans Series.

The car will be driven by team owner Roberto Lacorte, his son Nicola Lacorte and Ferrari factory driver Antonio Fuoco.

The series will introduce the Hypercar category this season, with Cetilar’s entry joined by a second Ferrari 499P run by AF Corse.

The calendar will take place entirely in Europe this winter because of the ongoing Iran crisis, with races at Le Castellet, Jerez and Portimao.

Only two hypercars are set to compete, after other proposed entries did not go ahead.

A shortage of required Bronze-rated drivers and the shift to a European-only schedule contributed to the limited field.

The season will test whether hypercars can race outside the WEC and IMSA, and Cetilar plans to begin racing at Le Castellet in two weeks.

The 499P is a legendary car, an extraordinary machine that I will get to share with a top driver like Antonio Fuoco and my son Nicola. That too is a dream come true.
