Korea LPG Association discusses industry challenges at Istanbul forum

The Korea LPG Association attended a global LPG industry forum in Istanbul, Türkiye, held from October 12 to 16.

The event brought together energy officials, company representatives and industry experts from around the world.

About 2,500 people from 110 countries took part, discussing the industry’s resilience amid changes in the global energy market.

The association said it examined market shifts and policy trends to find ways to strengthen South Korea’s LPG industry and benefit consumers.

It also reviewed how LPG vehicles serve working drivers, including taxi operators, small-business owners and farmers.

The association plans to consider policies and public information that reflect those users’ needs, and to adapt international examples to conditions in South Korea.
