Condis profit rises 12% as sales remain nearly flat

Condis, a supermarket chain based in Catalonia, earned €24.36 million in 2025, up 12% from the previous year.

Its sales were almost unchanged at €810 million, a 0.4% rise.

The company also increased its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation by 3.5%, to €52.8 million.

Condis focuses on urban and neighbourhood supermarkets and is owned by private equity firm Portobello and its management team.

The chain had 766 stores by October, including outlets added through its purchases of Roges and Menorca-based Binipreu.

It had previously operated only in Catalonia, but this year expanded into Menorca.

Condis remains open to further acquisitions and plans to invest a similar amount to the €18.7 million it spent last year, but has not given a 2026 sales forecast.
