Paris Masters could decide four remaining ATP Finals places
The Paris Masters is the last major ranking event of the men's tennis season, running from November 2 to 8.
The ATP Finals will feature the year's top eight players and are scheduled for Turin from November 15 to 22.
Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton and Daniil Medvedev have qualified, leaving four places open among eight contenders.
Flavio Cobolli, one of the contenders, withdrew from Paris with muscle discomfort, while Jannik Sinner has said he will not play another official tournament in 2026.
Rafael Jódar, Arthur Fils, Frances Tiafoe and Alex De Miñaur are among those with stronger chances, while Novak Djokovic needs a semifinal run and rivals' early losses; even then, his place would not be certain.
Sinner, last year's Paris champion, is absent with an injury, so a new champion will win the Paris title this year.
