Wardogs Season 3 adds new map, progression changes and AI-assisted anti-cheat
Bulkhead says Wardogs Season 3 will bring several changes after the studio acknowledged that some Season 2 updates went too far.
The developer said it had reacted too quickly to negative feedback and plans to avoid rushing changes to satisfy the loudest players.
Season 3 adds Sabatulo, an urban map designed for more close-range combat.
Players can unlock some gear through more than one role, so they need not play roles they do not want just to get certain items.
A new Limited mode removes high-tier weapons, armour and vehicles to give casual players a more level playing field.
Bulkhead says its AI-assisted anti-cheat analysed 187 million hours of gameplay and banned 185,000 accounts when the system went live.
A larger progression overhaul is planned for 2027.
