Krunal Pandya to captain India at Hong Kong Sixes

Krunal Pandya will captain India at the Hong Kong Sixes, replacing Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Bhuvneshwar withdrew after being called back to India’s national team for the upcoming tour of New Zealand, his first recall in four years.

Kulwant Khejroliya has taken Bhuvneshwar’s place in the seven-player squad.

The team also includes Shashank Singh, Rahul Tewatia, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi and T. Natarajan.

The Hong Kong Sixes is a fast-paced format in which six players take the field for each team.

The tournament runs from October 30 to November 1, while Bhuvneshwar is set to join India for the New Zealand tour beginning October 22.
