Baseus opens pre-orders for 160W charger with cooling fan and display
Baseus has opened pre-orders in China for its 160W EnerGeek GH21 charger.
It has three USB-C ports, each able to deliver up to 140W when used alone, while combined output across multiple ports is capped at 160W.
High-power chargers can heat up and reduce output, so the GH21 uses a built-in fan and temperature controls to manage heat.
Baseus says it can maintain full power for up to 72 hours without reducing output because of heat.
A 1.8-inch screen shows charging power, temperature and estimated time remaining, while the charger can shift power between ports when devices are connected or unplugged.
The C3 port supports Xiaomi’s 120W Hyper Charge, which Baseus says can charge a Xiaomi 17 Pro to 80% in about 30 minutes.
Pre-orders cost 399 yuan in China, and the source gives no details about availability elsewhere.
