Patria agrees to buy majority stake in Nubank’s São Paulo headquarters
Patria Investimentos agreed to buy a stake in Nubank’s main office building in the Pinheiros area of São Paulo.
After the deal, Patria is expected to own about 65% of the building, which is currently owned by several investors.
Nubank will remain the sole tenant and had an option to buy the property but chose not to.
The deal comes as demand for high-end office space in São Paulo has risen, with fewer vacant spaces and higher rents.
Nubank is expanding its offices after shifting from mostly remote work to a hybrid model starting in 2026.
It has opened offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Campinas, and plans to open another São Paulo office in the Cyrela Corporate building.
The purchase is part of Patria’s investment in office buildings in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
