Incheon to promote its 2028 G20 bid on 4,606 vehicles
Incheon is using 4,606 taxis and mobility-support vehicles to promote its 2028 G20 bid from November.
The vehicles, which include 4,000 privately and company-operated taxis, will carry stickers saying, “2028 G20 Summit, now Incheon!”
They regularly serve residents and visitors, giving the city a way to make its bid visible around town.
The city says the campaign is meant to raise public interest and support for hosting the summit.
Taxi drivers are also being asked to sign in support of Incheon’s bid.
In September 2026, the city had 14,331 licensed taxis, so the 4,000 taxis in the campaign are only part of its fleet.
Incheon plans to continue working with the taxi industry and other partners on publicity and efforts to secure the summit.
