Ric Flair cancels Washington convention appearance over blood clot

Wrestling legend Ric Flair has cancelled his Seattle-area convention appearance because of a blood clot in his leg.

The event is Washington State Horror Con, scheduled for October 23–25 in Puyallup, Washington.

Flair said his doctors have limited his travel to three or four hours, making the trip to the West Coast impossible for now.

He previously missed the Cauliflower Alley Club’s annual reunion over the summer because of the clot.

Flair is scheduled for a procedure on the affected vein, which his doctors expect will allow him to travel farther afterward.

He apologized to the event organizers and fans, and said he hopes to see them once he has recovered.
