Liudmila Roshchina wins silver in world gymnastics all-around

Russia’s Liudmila Roshchina won silver in the women’s all-around at the World Artistic Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The all-around combines scores from four events, and Roshchina earned 55.199 points.

Skye Blakely of the United States took gold with 55.733 points, while China’s Ke Qinqin won bronze with 55.032.

Roshchina’s result came after Russia’s team had also placed second in the team all-around and secured a qualification spot for the 2028 Olympics.

Three Russian gymnasts—Angelina Melnikova, Viktoria Listunova and Anna Kalmykova—missed the competition after the Netherlands refused them visas.

The championships continue until October 25, according to TASS.
