Mavericks beat Heat 113-109 as Cooper Flagg leads late comeback

Dallas beat Miami 113-109 on Monday in an NBA game decided in the final seconds.

The Mavericks trailed by one entering the fourth quarter, but Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 29 points and 11 assists as the team finished strongly.

With Miami down two late, Andrew Wiggins missed a go-ahead shot after Flagg blocked it, then Flagg scored at the other end to help seal the win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 29 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists for Miami, but his triple-double was not enough to prevent the Heat from losing.

Dallas also got 20 points from P.J. Washington and 15 from bench player Walter Clayton Jr. The result gave the Mavericks their second win of the season, while Miami dropped to 0-4 after four games.

The sources do not say what either team will do next.
