David Dvorak questions drug testing after loss in OKTAGON
Former UFC flyweight David Dvorak says OKTAGON has not tested him for drugs since he joined the Czech promotion.
He raised the concern after losing to Zhalgas Zhumagulov in a title fight at OKTAGON 81 last December, when a doctor stopped the bout in the third round.
Dvorak said Zhumagulov hit him harder than anyone he had faced and suggested performance-enhancing drugs could be a possibility.
He says OKTAGON testing he saw covered stimulants before fights, and that fighters may not be tested for other substances.
His comments raise questions about how drug testing is handled outside the UFC, but do not establish that Zhumagulov used banned substances.
Dvorak hopes a win over Aaron Aby at OKTAGON 95 will earn him a rematch, though he says he does not plan to ask for more testing transparency if they fight again.

What people are saying
Zhalgas was the most different fighter I have ever met, he had the strongest punch I have ever received, he was a little bit weird…
I’ve never been tested in OKTAGON, because I’m a clean guy,
It’s possible (that he was on PEDs), they don’t test you for EPO, Testosterone or peptides, you can be on steroids.
