Zach Eflin Says He Hopes to Stay With the Orioles

Zach Eflin wants to stay with the Baltimore Orioles.

He had elbow trouble and underwent Tommy John surgery in April, so he is expected to miss part of next season.

The Orioles are expected to pay $2 million to end his 2027 option rather than keep him under its $25 million terms.

The team will also need to plan for other possible departures from its pitching rotation.
