Colima Begins Road Works Worth More Than 62 Million Pesos

The Colima government has begun road works at the Alcaraces junction in the state of Colima, Mexico.

The project is on the state road between Alcaraces and Trapichillos, in the municipality of Cuauhtémoc.

The work has an investment of more than 62 million pesos and is expected to benefit over 31,000 residents.

It will add an exit lane from the Guadalajara-Colima highway toward Alcaraces and an entry lane from Palmillas onto the highway.

The project also includes two new turnarounds near Palmillas and Alcaraces, along with improvements to existing access roads and exits.

Crews will also repair surface potholes and adjust curves, but no completion date was given.
