Celltrion reports record third-quarter sales and operating profit
Celltrion, a South Korean drugmaker based in Incheon, reported its highest quarterly sales and operating profit in the third quarter of 2026.
Sales reached 1.5 trillion won, up 45.8% from a year earlier, while operating profit rose 69.2% to 510 billion won.
The company said stronger sales of newer biosimilar medicines and lower production costs helped drive the increase.
Biosimilars are medicines designed to be highly similar to existing biological drugs.
Celltrion said it exceeded its operating-profit targets for three quarters in a row.
In Europe, sales of products including Omlyclo grew, while its existing medicines and newer products also sold more in the United States.
Celltrion launched Omlyclo in the US this month, and it was listed as a preferred medicine by insurer Optum; insurance coverage is expected during the fourth quarter.
The company expects US sales and continued European supply to help boost fourth-quarter results.
