Nelly Korda Clinches LPGA Player of the Year, One Point From Hall of Fame

Nelly Korda has clinched the LPGA Player of the Year award for the second time, with three tournaments left in the season.

The 28-year-old American won four times in 2026, including the Chevron Championship and the U.S. Women's Open.

Her lead in the points race became unassailable after South Korea's Haeran Ryu withdrew from a tournament in Malaysia and two other challengers did not enter The Annika.

The award brings Korda to 26 Hall of Fame points, one short of the 27 needed to qualify for the LPGA Hall of Fame.

The LPGA award is separate from the World Golf Hall of Fame.

A win in either of her next two tournaments would earn the final point she needs.

Korda plans to play The Annika and the CME Group Tour Championship, both in Florida.
