Fulham manager Arbeloa says focus is on club, not his future

Fulham head coach Álvaro Arbeloa says the focus should be on the club, not questions about his future, as the team prepares to face Hull at home.

Fulham are bottom of the Premier League with two points after four defeats and two draws in their first six games.

Their latest loss came after they led Ipswich 1-0, then conceded twice late to lose 2-1.

The defeat has increased pressure on Arbeloa, whose tactical changes during the Ipswich game have drawn criticism.

He took over in the summer from Marco Silva, and Fulham are trying to adopt a more attacking style while fears of relegation grow.

A win against Hull would be Fulham’s first in the league this season and could ease pressure on the manager.

If he remains in charge after that match, Fulham visit Coventry City next weekend.
