Lions Place Three Players on Injured Reserve; Eagles Add Will Shipley
The Detroit Lions placed three players on injured reserve during their bye week: offensive lineman Ben Bartch, wide receiver Tom Kennedy and linebacker Devin White.
Each must miss at least four games before having a chance to return, and Kennedy is expected to miss the rest of the season after an MCL injury that requires surgery.
Bartch has a foot injury, while White broke his forearm in Week 5.
The moves leave Detroit with three open roster spots, and safety Brian Branch and center Cade Mays could fill two of them after being designated to return from injured reserve.
The Philadelphia Eagles also placed running back Will Shipley on injured reserve, joining Tank Bigsby, while starter Saquon Barkley is unavailable.
