Indonesia’s IHSG Rises 0.32% as Most Shares Fall
Indonesia’s main stock index, the IHSG, rose 0.32% to about 4,920 on Wednesday, 4 November.
The gain came even though more shares fell than rose; the two accounts give different counts, but both show declines outnumbering advances.
Foreign investors were net buyers, with one account reporting net purchases of Rp257.94 billion across the market.
The mixed performance suggests the index’s rise did not amount to a broad market recovery.
