Moscow Dynamo beat Amur 2-1 to end three-game losing streak

Moscow Dynamo beat Khabarovsk’s Amur 2-1 in a KHL game played in Moscow.

Pavel Shen and Igor Martynov scored for Dynamo, while Vitaly Abramov scored for Amur.

The win ended Dynamo’s three-game losing streak and was the team’s 600th victory in regulation time in the KHL.

Dynamo had been struggling, and some fans jeered coach Leonid Tambiev before the game.

Amur captain Vyacheslav Voinov said his team controlled much of the match, especially in the third period, but did not make the most of its chances.

Both teams have 21 points, with Dynamo seventh in the Western Conference and Amur fifth in the Eastern Conference.

Dynamo next play Minsk Dynamo on November 1, while Amur visit Ak Bars Kazan on October 30.
