Titans release Jordan Elliott after incident at team facility

The Tennessee Titans released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott after reviewing an incident at the team facility.

The team said the incident happened on Oct.

15 but has not explained what took place.

Elliott had appeared in all five of Tennessee’s games this season, starting one and making 11 tackles.

He joined the Titans from the San Francisco 49ers after spending the previous two seasons there.

The release came after Tennessee earned its first win of the season, beating the Indianapolis Colts 26-20.

Elliott’s departure leaves a change to the team’s defensive line, but the Titans gave no further details about the incident.

Tennessee is due to host the Cleveland Browns this week.
