Massimo Ghini was the first contestant eliminated from the 2026 season of Italy’s Rai 1 dance show Ballando con le Stelle.
He and dance partner Valentina Fiorini lost a dance-off against Jimmy Ghione and Anastasia Kuzmina, receiving 14% of the public vote.
Alessandro Matri and Giada Lini won the fourth episode, after their performance and votes from viewers put them ahead.
The episode also featured former contestants Bianca Guaccero and Federica Nargi dancing together, earning 90 bonus points for the competition.
Those points were divided among three couples, changing the standings before the elimination vote.
Ghini can keep training for a possible return through a planned comeback round in December.
