Kia Expands Grocery Delivery Programme to South Korean County

Kia is expanding its Move to You delivery programme to Sunchang County in South Korea.

The programme helps older residents in areas where population decline has left people with few nearby shops.

Two PV5 cargo vehicles will serve seven townships and 65 villages, delivering groceries and daily necessities.

Residents can buy the goods at village halls or other local hubs at reasonable prices.

Sunchang was chosen because many of its townships lack shops, and older people make up nearly half its population.

Kia began the programme with South Korea’s Interior Ministry in March and chose Uiseong County for its first location in July.

The company also plans to connect deliveries with care programmes to support social contact and local communities.
