Missile debris injures four and damages homes in Riyadh

Saudi authorities said debris from two intercepted cruise missiles fell in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The Civil Defense said four people, including a child, were injured, and 15 homes had limited damage.

Separately, the Saudi-led coalition said debris from an intercepted Houthi ballistic missile fell in a residential area of Dhahran, in eastern Saudi Arabia.

The coalition said it also intercepted a missile targeting Haradh Center in Al-Ahsa Governorate and three drones north of Riyadh.

The incidents involve attacks attributed to the Houthis, a group fighting Yemen’s government and the Saudi-led coalition.

Falling debris caused injuries and damage in residential areas, even though the missiles were intercepted.

Authorities said they responded and carried out standard procedures; no further steps were specified.
