Chris Jones and Chiefs coach argue on sideline during win over Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones argued with coach Joe Cullen on the sideline during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The exchange happened in the second quarter, with Kansas City leading 9-3 at the time.

A broadcast showed Jones pushing Cullen’s hand away from his shoulder while Jones sat on the bench.

Game analyst Trent Green said the two have a good relationship and suggested Jones may have disliked being touched, but the reason for the argument remains unclear.

Kansas City went on to beat Los Angeles 22-6, extending its strong season.

The Chiefs next travel to play the Seattle Seahawks, the defending Super Bowl champions.
