Oviedo scores twice late to draw 2-2 with Almería
Real Oviedo came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Almería in Spain’s second-tier league.
Almería took the lead through Sergio Arribas in the 16th minute, then Miguel de la Fuente scored in the 26th.
The hosts were the league leaders and had won seven straight matches, while Oviedo had struggled for much of the game.
Jacobo González came off the bench and scored in the 87th and 90th minutes to rescue a point for Oviedo.
The draw ended Almería’s winning run and its perfect home record this season.
It also means Almería could lose first place by the end of the round, with Castellón able to move ahead.
The match was played in Almería, and the result leaves both teams’ final places dependent on the other round’s results.
