Zigzag Seongsu Pop-Up Draws About 6,500 Visitors

Fashion platform Zigzag drew about 6,500 visitors to a three-day pop-up store in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong.

The event let shoppers try on clothes from online stores in person, rather than viewing them only on a screen.

Before it opened, about 4,000 advance tickets sold out in roughly three hours.

Visitor numbers exceeded the event’s target of 5,000, so Zigzag expanded its fitting areas from 10 to 24.

About one in three visitors bought a product, and participating stores also saw more shoppers save their stores or products online.

Kakao Style, which operates Zigzag, said it plans to organize more events to showcase Korean online stores and the platform.
