Apple Fitness+ adds Gym Strength workout planning in iOS 27.3 beta
Apple Fitness+ is adding a feature called Gym Strength for people who work out with gym equipment.
It is appearing in the iOS 27.3 developer beta and can create personalized plans lasting four weeks.
Users choose how many days they can train and which body areas to focus on, and the app recommends exercises, sets, repetitions and weights.
The plans adjust to users’ equipment and progress, using early workout results to guide later sessions and offering alternatives when equipment is unavailable.
The feature supports more than 30 types of strength equipment across over 350 exercises, and includes videos demonstrating each movement.
Gym Strength is included with a Fitness+ subscription, and an Apple Watch running the matching beta can show exercises, record repetitions and track heart rate.
