Canada Council reviews journal after poem praises Oct. 7 Hamas attack

A poem in the journal The Ex-Puritan praises paragliders used during Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel.

The Canada Council for the Arts funds the journal and says it takes concerns about the content very seriously.

It has started an internal review.

The review could affect how the council responds to the journal and its funding.
