Companies sign supply and service deals at Shanghai import expo

Companies signed deals at Shanghai’s ninth China International Import Expo, which was taking place when the deals were announced.

China Coal Technology and Engineering Group agreed to buy equipment and materials from eight overseas suppliers for mine modernisation and equipment upgrades.

The purchases are intended to improve coal production efficiency and help maintain a stable energy supply.

Accounting firm BDO China signed three cooperation agreements covering services such as audit and risk management, valuation research, and support for companies handling cross-border data and overseas business risks.

Cushman & Wakefield and Fung Group expanded their partnership to help Chinese consumer brands find overseas factories, shops and warehouses, and navigate local rules.

The deals aim to link foreign resources with domestic industry needs and help businesses operate in global markets; the expo participants said they would continue their cooperation.
