Marisa Brel says she warned Gustavo Yankelevich about his grandson’s distress

Marisa Brel said she called producer Gustavo Yankelevich after learning that his grandson, Valentín, was deeply distressed.

Brel said her daughter Paloma, who went to school with Valentín, told her that he had posted on Snapchat about wanting to be with his mother, Romina Yan.

Yan died in 2010.

Brel said she had noticed Paloma was upset but did not know why until her daughter explained the posts.

She said she met with Gustavo Yankelevich and told him what she had learned.

Brel and her daughter later gave testimony in a legal process that followed a complaint against Valentín’s father, Darío Giordano.

Brel also spoke publicly at Gustavo Yankelevich’s request, after he and Valentín had made statements of their own.
