A China-Europe-Africa green energy forum was held on November 7 in Wenzhou, in China's Zhejiang province.

Officials, diplomats and business representatives from China, the European Union and African countries took part.

Former Belgian prime minister Yves Leterme called for stronger dialogue, shared standards and financing to support cooperation.

Former Ugandan vice-president Gilbert Bukenya proposed expanding small solar systems alongside efforts to restore damaged forests.

Speakers also discussed renewable energy technology and power networks as demand for electricity grows.

Participants explored ways to develop joint projects, but no specific agreements or next steps were announced.
