Prime Video Orders ‘Savage Son’ Series With Chris Pratt

Prime Video has ordered a series called Savage Son, starring Chris Pratt as James Reece.

Reece is a former Navy SEAL and the lead character in the streamer’s military thriller franchise, The Terminal List.

The new show adapts Jack Carr’s third book about Reece, following earlier books adapted for the first two seasons of The Terminal List.

The story follows Reece on a personal mission involving a traitorous CIA officer and the Russian mafia.

It extends a franchise that has drawn strong viewing numbers; the second season of The Terminal List recorded 830 million minutes of watch time in one week after its return.

It is not yet clear whether Savage Son is a standalone series or season three of The Terminal List.

No writer or showrunner has been attached, and the cast beyond Pratt has not been confirmed.
