Ferrari Enters Yachting with Solar-Powered Hypersail
Ferrari, known for its cars, is building a special yacht called Hypersail!
It's like a giant sailboat that can 'fly' above the water, using a cool system to stay balanced.
The yacht is 100 feet long and will be launched in 2026.
What's super cool is that it will get its power from the sun, wind, and movement, so it won't need any other fuel.
Ferrari is using its racing know-how to build this, and it's already come up with some new inventions, showing it is pushing boundaries.
Ferrari is launching a 100-foot solar-powered flying monohull yacht named Hypersail in 2026.
The yacht is designed by naval architect Guillaume Verdier and led by sailor Giovanni Soldini.
Hypersail will use a unique stabilization system, including a canting keel-supported foil.
The yacht is designed to be entirely energy self-sufficient, using solar, wind, and kinetic sources.
The project has resulted in nine patents, with six more pending, and draws inspiration from Ferrari's Le Mans success.
