Waaree Energies Secures 140MW Solar Module Order
Waaree Energies, a company that makes solar panels, just got a big order to supply 140MW of solar modules.
This is good news because they already have a lot of orders worth Rs 47,000 crore.
Most of their business is in India, but they also sell a lot overseas.
They make more money from selling to regular people than to big companies.
The company is also planning to spend a lot of money (Rs 25,000 crore) to grow their business over the next two years.
Recently, their offices were checked by the Income Tax Department, but that's all done now.
Waaree Energies received a 140MW solar module order from a customer in the renewable power sector.
The company's order book stands at 24GW (Rs 47,000 crore), diversified between India and international markets.
Revenue mix is 53% domestic and 47% overseas, with retail sales accounting for 19–20% of domestic sales.
FY26 guidance reaffirmed at Rs 5,500–6,000 crore, with a capex plan of Rs 25,000 crore over 24 months.
Recent investigation by the Income Tax Department under the Income Tax Act, 1961, has been completed.
