Armed miscreants torch Naga village houses in Manipur's Kangpokpi

Something scary happened in a small village called Tokpa Liangmai Naga village.

The village is in the Kangpokpi district of the state of Manipur.

Late on Tuesday night, bad people with guns came to the village.

They shot their guns many times and then set fire to houses.

Most of the houses were made of weak materials, so they burned quickly.

People do not agree on how many houses were destroyed, with some saying around six, others at least nine, and the village council saying ten houses and a church were burned.

Nobody was hurt or killed in the attack.

Village leaders are asking the police to catch the people who did it and to make the area safer, and more security has been sent to the village.

Some people think another group of armed people was behind the attack, but the police have not confirmed who is responsible.

The village remains tense and people are worried about their safety.
