Rahul Gandhi Alleges Vote Theft, Attacks BJP and Poll Chief

Rahul Gandhi said India’s elections were not being handled fairly.

He accused the BJP and election officials of allowing votes to be stolen.

He said this would also make laws passed by elected lawmakers unfair or illegal.

Gandhi criticized Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and asked him to resign.

His comments came after reports that some election officials’ concerns about changing voter lists were being ignored.

Gandhi also questioned why the BJP seemed confident it would remain in power for many years.

He said political parties usually face public dissatisfaction after being in office.

He argued that this dissatisfaction seemed to have disappeared for the BJP in several states.
