Haryana POCSO Campaign Reaches 3.1 Lakh Students in Schools

Haryana is teaching children how to stay safe through a school campaign.

The campaign explains the POCSO law, which protects children from sexual offences.

It began on May 13 and continued through August 15.

Programmes were held in 1,731 schools and other educational institutions.

More than 3.1 lakh students attended the sessions.

Children are learning about personal safety and responsible behaviour.

They are also learning about social media, cyber safety and the risks of abuse.

The campaign explains how to report problems and ask trusted people or authorities for help.

Officials say regular school discussions can help children understand their rights.
