Madhya Pradesh Official Suspended After 51 Properties Found Recorded

A government land official in Madhya Pradesh was suspended.

Officials found 51 property records connected to him and his wife.

Forty-eight properties were listed under Rajesh Mandloi’s name.

Three were listed under his wife Manisha’s name.

Some properties were public or shared spaces in a village.

These included an area with a stepwell and a bus-stand platform.

The records were checked under a government land-rights program.

The issue became public earlier this week.
