YouTuber Michelle Khare Recreates Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible' Plane Stunt
A YouTuber named Michelle Khare wanted to do a stunt like Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible movies.
Tom Cruise famously hung onto the outside of a plane as it took off.
Michelle trained for 10 months with coaches and in wind tunnels to get strong enough for the wind.
She then got strapped into a safety harness and hung off the side of a big C-130 plane while it flew very fast.
She did this for her YouTube series where she tries difficult challenges.
She wanted to show she could do a dangerous stunt, inspired by her immigrant parents' hard work.
While Tom Cruise did his stunt without visible safety gear, Michelle used a harness for her recreation.
YouTuber Michelle Khare recreated Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation' stunt.
Khare hung off the side of a C-130 military aircraft during takeoff at speeds up to 150 mph (240 km/h).
She underwent extensive preparation over 10 months, including training with professional stunt coaches and wind tunnel sessions.
Unlike Tom Cruise's original stunt, Khare was secured with a safety harness.
The stunt was documented for her YouTube series 'Challenge Accepted' and was motivated by a desire to prove her capabilities.
