Trump Drops Tariffs, Forms Greenland Deal Framework
A big meeting called the World Economic Forum was happening in a place called Davos.
While it was going on, a strange smell made people cough, and there were reports of smoke.
This made everyone leave a part of the building quickly to stay safe.
Firefighters and other helpers came to check it out.
They found no injuries, and the fire was put out.
Meanwhile, the US President, Donald Trump, had a meeting with the head of NATO and decided not to put new taxes on some European countries.
Instead, they made a plan to work together on Greenland, which has important minerals and is near the North Pole.
Trump said this plan is good for both the US and its friends in NATO.
He also talked about a special project called the Golden Dome, which is like a shield to protect the country from missiles.
Some European countries are not happy about Trump's plans for Greenland, but Russia said it's not their problem.
The meeting in Davos continued as planned after the scare.
A strange odour and reports of smoke led to the evacuation of part of the Congress Centre at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Emergency responders quickly secured the area and extinguished the fire, with no injuries reported.
US President Donald Trump met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and formed a framework deal on Greenland, withdrawing planned tariffs on European nations.
The deal involves access to Greenland's mineral resources and cooperation on the Golden Dome missile defense system, with negotiations led by US officials.
European leaders, particularly Denmark, have expressed caution and concern over Trump's push for Greenland, while Russia has distanced itself from the issue.
