Bengaluru Schools and Rotary Club Launch Tree Planting Initiative
Imagine a school and a group called Rotary teamed up to plant lots of trees!
They planted over 1,200 trees at different school locations.
Kids learned how trees help clean the air and protect the soil.
Each student got their own tree to take care of.
The trees planted were fruit trees like mangoes and jackfruit.
This was part of a plan to teach kids about looking after nature and the environment, and it also showed how they can help prevent climate change.
It was like a big lesson in how to be kind to the planet.
Ryan International Academy and Rotary Bangalore Orchards partnered for a tree-planting drive in Bengaluru.
Over 1,200 fruit-bearing saplings were planted across four Ryan International Academy campuses.
The 'Each One, Plant One' program involved students in ecological responsibility.
Rotary Bangalore Orchards and Mr. Ravishankar Dakoju supported the initiative.
The project aims to integrate environmental values with academic excellence.
